The generational steel company “Swastik Steels” is managed by business owner Balbir Singh, a Delhi-based entrepreneur whose son is Ranvijay “Vijay” Singh. Although he had a grrat love for his father as he was a young child, but Balbir ignores him because of his irregular and ignorant behavior. Balbir admits Vijay to an American boarding school where the incident happened and he used an AK-47 to track his sister’s bullies. After completing his study, Vijay comes back and proposes Geetanjali, his old classmate whom he had loved a lot, to get engaged with him and chose him as a partner.
Vijay involved into a fight with his sister Varun’s husband on Balbir’s 60th birthday,due to which he was beind expelled from house. He left his family, gets married to Geetanjali, and moves to America, where he and Geetanjali have two kids. After eight years, on knowing that some unknown intruders tried to murder his father, he decides to go back to India to find those who assasinate Balbir. He got help from his cousins living in hometown Punjab and creates a Kailash doppelgänger for Balbir. Asrar Haque’s people killed Kailash because they thought/believed that he is Balbir.
After knowing that Varun was involved in that murder, Vijay kills him during a meeting. After that, he goes to a hotel to meet with an arms dealer, but Asrar’s group came there with a large numbers to kill him. He conquers the fight before he got fainted after a long battle, but due to severe wounds in the end he got unconscious. After two weeks of his coma situation, he knows that he needs the immediate heart transplant. Vijay finally finds a donor and successfully recovers, where he learns that the donor is was Zoya’s fiance. After that, he started spending time with Zoya to ease her pain of losing her fiance, Vijay wins Zoya over. According to Zoya, Abrar Haque, Asrar’s brother, was the one who sent her.
In order to capture Vijay and replace him with a doppelgänger who would slaughter his family, Abrar had sent her to honey trap Vijay. Vijay admits that he was aware of this for the entire time and was only trying to find the real offender. He finds out from his grandfather Rajdheer that Vijay’s family includes Abrar and his siblings, who are the grandsons of Rajdheer’s younger brother Shamsher Singh. Asrar tried to assassinate Balbir after he was denied a share of their property.
As a result, Shamsher killed himself in front of Abrar, leaving him terrified and speechless. When Vijay and his cousins storm into Abrar’s Scottish home with the intention of killing him, they discover that Abrar and his brother Abid have escaped on their private plane. When they cessalted the flight, Vijay and Abrar fight brutally till Vijay kills Abrar. Balbir discloses that he has terminal cancer and has come to terms with his shortcomings as a father during the family’s Diwali celebration. Vijay is happy to have found his love again after a long time when Balbir and him eventually make up.
In the scene before the credits, it is revealed that Aziz, who is also one of Abrar’s brothers, has undergone effective plastic surgery to mimic Vijay’s appearance. Zoya is now expecting a child, but she isn’t sure if it is Aziz’s or Vijay’s. After killing two of Vijay’s relatives, Aziz and Abid decide to get revenge on Vijay for the deaths of his brothers.
